Yummy Special K Bars

Yummy Special K Bars
What you will need:
1 cup of sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 ½ cups of creamy peanut butter
6 cups of corn flacks
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
A little butter

This is a really easy and fast recipe. What you will want to do first is measure all of the ingredients, then you will want to butter a tuber ware around the edges and the bottom. Make sure that you put the 6 cups of corn flacks into a large mixing bowl. What you will do is boil the sugar and corn syrup. This will happen fast and then you will add the 1 ½ cup of peanut butter and make sure these are mixed well. This needs to be done over a medium heat. Next add the mixture to the corn flacks and make sure that all the corn flacks are covered. Place the bar mix into the tuber ware and press lightly into the corners until flat. Let the bar mix cool. This may take a while it all depends it can take anywhere between 15 to maybe 20 minutes. The next step is the topping. This is really easy what you will need to do is melt the two different chip types together and then spread over the cooled bars. If the chip topping is to think the spread then you can add a little milk.

Special K Bars are really yummy. I made these for the first time this weekend. They were really yummy and easy to make. This is a recipe that I have had many times at friends’ houses and at bake sales at 4-H fairs. This is a recipe that my family and I really enjoy. They are perfect for anytime.

The first thing you will want to do is put a pot of water on the stove to boil. Then start to cook the hamburger meat. My family and I started making this recipe this year when my little sister made dinner and asked one of her friends for the directions on how to make it. I’m glad she did because it’s so good. I have had this many times at other peoples home and in many different ways. I have had Mexican goulash before and that is also yummy. Tortilla Rolls

Tortilla Rolls
1 Can of refried beans
1 Bag of shredded cheese
1 Bag of tortillas
1 pound of hamburger meat
Salsa and Sour Cream
Tooth Picks

This is a yummy recipe! Tortilla Rolls! The first thing you will want to do is start to cook the hamburger meat. Then you will want to open the can of beans and place those in a pan to heat. Then you will want to open your tortillas and place them out flat on a cutting board or just the counter if you want. While you wait for the meat and the beans to heat you can open the cheese and the get the salsa and sour cream dished out into little bowls for serving.  When the meat and beans are done cooking you will scoop some of the beans onto a tortilla and spread evenly then, place some meat on top then add some cheese. Then roll the full tortilla and cut it into little circles. Then take a tooth pick and stick one into each tortilla circle.

Tortilla rolls make a fast and yummy appetizer or any time snack. I like to serve these with salsa and sour cream for dipping. You can also try nacho cheese dip with the tortilla rolls that is also wonderful! My family and I have enjoyed this recipe as an after school snack, a movie appetizer, and sometimes even for a dinner for just one or two people. I hope that you all enjoy this recipe and I can’t wait to hear back about what you think!! =-)
